Baked Kale Crisps

Low-cal and nutritious… if you love kale, you’ll love these Baked Kale Crisps. The caraway and sesame seeds add an addicting nuttiness to them. These curly crisp veggies certainly stand out from the chip bowls, and are frequent conversation-starters at parties.

  • 1.Preheat oven to 350°.
  • 2.Cut the stem from each kale leaf.
  • 3.Toss the kale with olive oil – only enough to barely coat the leaves. Otherwise they get soggy.
  • 4.Place on lightly oiled cookie sheet.
  • 5.Sprinkle with sea salt, caraway seeds, and sesame seeds.
  • 6.Bake for 10 minutes.
  • 7.Plate and eat.


  • 1 bunch of kale, the curlier the better
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon organic caraway seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon organic black sesame seeds
