Mile High Steak

Bring out the best in your beef with Smith & Truslow’s Mile High Steak Rub. You can use this custom blend of sea salt, garlic, dill, coriander, paprika and red pepper straight-up as a dry rub. Massage the beef rub into your favorite meat and let it sit for 15 mins to 2 hrs before grilling. If you prefer a wet rub, add Mile High Steak Rub to olive oil before rubbing your steak.

Directions

  • 1.Massage the beef rub into your steaks and let it sit for 15 mins to 2 hrs before grilling.
  • 2.If you prefer a wet rub, add Mile High Steak Rub to olive oil before rubbing your steak.
  • 3.Preheat your outdoor grill to high heat.
  • 4.Sear steaks for 3 minutes per side.
  • 5.Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue cooking with the lid closed until the steaks reach the desired level of doneness.
  • 6.Remove steaks from the grill, and immediately top with 1 tablespoon butter each. Tent with aluminum foil, and let steaks rest 5 to 10 minutes before cutting into them.
