Spiced Nuts

Sweet and spicy roasted nuts will warm you to the cockles. Use walnuts or pecans, and choose the spice you favor for flavor! These are super easy to make, and are great as an appetizer… or package them up for gift giving.


  • 1.Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • 2.Toss walnuts with maple syrup and spices until evenly coated.
  • 3.Spread nut mixture on a sheet pan and bake for 7-10 minutes.
  • 4.Let cool to room temperature.


  • 1 cup raw walnuts or pecans
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon organic ground paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon organic ground cayenne
  • 1/8 teaspoon organic ground cinnamon
  • pinch of fine sea salt to taste
  • Variations: to please your unique palate, substitute the above spices with 1 teaspoon Organic Berbere Spice, Organic Coriander Cumin Rub or Organic Apple Pie Spice
