Spiced Up Bloody Mary

Okay, it’s time to share our Spiced Up Bloody Mary recipe in preparation for a virtual Zoom Brunch this weekend! The secret spice mix is out of the bag. Equal parts organic spices – lemon peel, cayenne, ginger – and celery sea salt spice up this Bloody Mary perfectly. For the rim? Give it a roll in celery sea salt or smoked applewood sea salt. Yum.


  • 1.Pour the flavored sea salt onto a small plate.
  • 2.Rub the juicy side of the lemon or lime wedge along the lip of a pint glass.
  • 3.Roll the outer edge of the glass in celery salt until fully coated.
  • 4.Fill with ice and set aside.
  • 5.Squeeze the lemon or lime wedge into a shaker and drop it in.
  • 6.Add remaining ingredients. Shake gently.
  • 7.Pour into the prepared glass.
  • 8.Garnish as desired with lemon wedge, speared olives and/or celery stalk.


  • 6 ounces tomato juice (or V8)
  • 3 ounces vodka
  • 1 lime or lemon wedge
  • 1 teaspoon Bloody Mary mix (see below)
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons prepared horse radish
  • Celery sea salt (or smoked applewood sea salt) to rim glass
  • Garnish options: lemon/lime wedge, celery, olives

Bloody Mary Mix

  • 1 teaspoon organic lemon peel
  • 1 teaspoon organic ground cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon organic ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon celery sea salt
