Za’atar roasted chicken brings flavors of the middle east to your kitchen. Marinated chicken with vinegar, mustard and orange marmalade, smothered with our organic Za’atar Seasoning – a blend of sesame seeds, sumac berries and savory dried herbs.
1.For marinade, mix together the mustard, vinegar and marmalade in a medium bowl.
2.Add sea salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste.
3.Add chicken to bowl and thoroughly cover with marinade. Cover, and sit for 20 minutes. (Alternatively, place marinade and chicken is airtight bag. This way you can massage the marinade into the chicken.)
4.Preheat oven to 325°.
5.Once the chicken is fully marinated, spread Za'atar Seasoning on a plate.
6.Roll the chicken on the plate, thickly coating with Za'atar.
7.Roast for 25-30 minutes, turning once halfway through.
8.Serve as you like – with couscous, or on a simple bed of greens.
9.Optional: drizzle chicken with a tahini or Greek yogurt dressing.
