Bring out the best in your beef with Smith & Truslow’s Mile High Steak Rub. You can use this custom blend of sea salt, garlic, dill, coriander, paprika and red pepper straight-up as a dry rub. Massage the beef rub into your favorite meat and let it sit for 15 mins to 2 hrs before grilling. If you prefer a wet rub, add Mile High Steak Rub to olive oil before rubbing your steak.

Ingredients

4 teaspoons Smith & Truslow Organic Mile High Steak Rub
- 2 thick cut steaks
- 2 teaspoons olive oil (if using a wet rub)
- 2 tablespoons butter
Directions
Massage the beef rub into your steaks and let it sit for 15 mins to 2 hrs before grilling.
If you prefer a wet rub, add Mile High Steak Rub to olive oil before rubbing your steak.
Preheat your outdoor grill to high heat.
Sear steaks for 3 minutes per side.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue cooking with the lid closed until the steaks reach the desired level of doneness.
Remove steaks from the grill, and immediately top with 1 tablespoon butter each. Tent with aluminum foil, and let steaks rest 5 to 10 minutes before cutting into them.
