Sweet and spicy! These are good by themselves, with a beer, or added to a salad. A strong cheese (gorganzola or feta), combine well with the sweet spiciness of the nuts to create a very tasty salad. I find I eat more greens when I have these nuts on hand. Go veggies!

Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
-
1 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 Tablespoon molasses
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
-
2 Tablespoons ground paprika
-
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cayenne
-
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 cups pecans
- 2 cups blanched almonds
- 2 cups cashews
- 6 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Beat egg whites with salt until foamy.
- Beat in honey, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, cayenne, and cinnamon.
- Stir in nuts and butter and spread in a large shallow baking pan. (Place foil or parchment paper on the pan first. It makes cleaning the pan a lot easier.)
- Bake nuts in oven, stirring every 10 minutes until crisp, about 30 minutes. Spread nuts on a new sheet of foil and cool.
- Store in an air tight container at room temperature.
